I finally finished Explosive Fourth. I was beginning to think it would never happen and then I was typing the final sentence. I just sat there staring at my laptop screen. Then it hit me. The book was done. Of course, I had to do rewrites and edits, but since I had been doing it all along that didn't take long.

I went through, rewrote the finished chapters, and thought I was happy with them. Well, I was happy with the rewrite. A funny thing happened, my characters were not happy with the story. They kept coming into my thoughts saying "this won't work, I want to do that, I wouldn't do that. Really? Who is the victim? Why haven't you given him a name and occupation?"
