I went through, rewrote the finished chapters, and thought I was happy with them. Well, I was happy with the rewrite. A funny thing happened, my characters were not happy with the story. They kept coming into my thoughts saying "this won't work, I want to do that, I wouldn't do that. Really? Who is the victim? Why haven't you given him a name and occupation?" You know, stuff like that. I finally listened to them and went back through everything and made those changes. Of course, this set back advancement on chapter numbers again so I'm only chapter 16. I'm getting there and I am determined to have a good book for you all to read. A book I'm happy with and my characters are happy with.
